LBC ramps up logistics business with PLDT group

Philippine express courier, cargo, and money remittance service firm LBC is working with PLDT Enterprise to leverage FlutterFlow, a Google Cloud Marketplace Solution, through PLDT’s ICT subsidiary, ePLDT.

This partnership aims to enhance LBC’s logistics and customer service capabilities through innovative application development.

To fast-track the build and deployment of the apps, LBC maximised Flutterflow, an AI-powered visual development platform that empowers businesses in building cross platform native mobile and web applications faster.

The strategic tech investment also enables LBC’s in-house development team to efficiently build and maintain applications for various user groups, including delivery riders and customers.

Alfie Deato, SVP and CIO of LBC, said that LBC is committed to move beyond legacy systems and solutions in order to achieve enhanced overall customer experience.

Through this partnership, the deployment of Flutterflow and other existing resources on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), LBC can benefit from personalised support and professional service requirements.

“We are confident that we can collaboratively empower LBC to achieve their goals in today’s digital world through our extensive pool of outcome-based multi-cloud solutions,” said Victor Genuino, president and CEO of ePLDT.
